LG webOS Smart TVs (2020–2025)

• Won’t Turn On / No Power: Unplug for 60 seconds (hard reset); check if the red standby LED blinks when pressing power on Magic Remote.
• Magic Remote Not Working: Re-register: point remote at TV → press Home + Back for 5 sec until light blinks → press Wheel (OK).
• No Sound: Settings → Sound → Sound Out → select correct output (TV Speaker / HDMI ARC / Optical).
• Apps Not Opening / Slow: Settings → General → About This TV → Check for Updates; or clear cache in Settings → Application Manager.
• Wi-Fi Keeps Disconnecting: Settings → Network → Advanced Wi-Fi → turn off “Quick Start+” or “Screen Share” if not used.

LG OLED & QNED Series

• Burn-in / Image Retention: Run Pixel Refresher (Settings → Support → OLED Care → Pixel Cleaning) after 4h daily use.
• Black Screen but Sound Works: Change HDMI cable (use Ultra High Speed for 120Hz/4K); disable HDMI-CEC (Settings → Connection → Device Connector → turn off Simplink).
• Panel Brightness Too Low: Settings → Picture → OLED Light / Brightness → set to 100 for HDR content; enable “AI Picture Pro”.

Standard LG UHD / LED (Non-webOS or Older Models)

• No Picture / Lines on Screen: Try different HDMI port and cable; reset picture settings (Settings → Picture → Picture Reset).
• Universal Remote Codes: Common codes: 10178, 11178, 11423, 12358, 11768 (works with most cable boxes).
• Overheating / Auto Shut-off: Ensure 10 cm clearance around vents; clean dust with compressed air.
