Installation Requirements

Ensure you have the proper tools and materials before starting installation.

  1. Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver, adjustable wrench, level, pliers, tape measure, drill
  2. Materials Required: Teflon tape, wire nuts, hose clamps, electrical tape
  3. Space Requirements: 24-inch width, 24-inch depth, 34-inch height minimum
  4. Utility Requirements: 120V dedicated circuit, hot water supply, drain connection

Step-by-Step Installation

Follow these steps in order for proper installation.

  1. Remove packaging and protective film from unit
  2. Position dishwasher in front of installation space
  3. Remove lower access panel and insulation
  4. Connect electrical wiring (see Electrical Connection section)
  5. Connect water supply line (see Water Connection section)
  6. Connect drain hose (see Drain Connection section)
  7. Slide unit into cabinet opening
  8. Level and secure unit to countertop/cabinets
  9. Install upper and lower racks
  10. Run initial test cycle

The dishwasher requires a dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit with proper grounding.

  1. Adjust leveling legs using wrench until unit is level front to back and side to side
  2. Check level with bubble level on top of unit
  3. Secure unit to countertop using mounting brackets
  4. Install toe kick panel at bottom front
  5. Connect power and turn on circuit breaker
  6. Run initial test cycle without dishes to check for leaks
  7. Verify proper drainage and operation
